Spiritual growth comes in all shapes and sizes. Some of us worship God and others find peace and strength in the Divine Goddess of Nature or The Universal Energy. What ever you call it or what ever form your spiritual practice takes we can all learn from one another. Regardless of what you call it I like the imagery of the divine energy force that helps you feel connected to the universal source of creation as a large elephant. Each of us are blind monks feeling the small bit of the elephant we can feel, smell, or hear. We can share what we experience and trust in each other that we can both benefit from sharing information we are gathering on our journey. Others decide that their personal experience is the only valid perspective. Those feeling the ears, trunk, tail, legs, or underbelly can get stuck in the parts they are feeling and argue vehemently that everyone else is wrong. Furthermore some organized religions or individual groups have done more to drive people away from the elephant than welcome new blind monks to join in on our wonderful shared learning experience. So feel free to embrace the material below that feels good to you and contact us with any new ideas for this page. But in all that you do, please do it with a kind a loving heart that encourages blind monks to explore your side of the elephant rather than jump off the proverbial cliff.
